Isabelle is a second-generation Filipino, having grown up in Tāmaki Makaurau. She currently works as an Advisor in the Antenatal and Childhood Screening Team at Health NZ, Te Whatu Ora, where she improves outcomes for tamariki and whānau early in their lives.
As a recent Bachelor of Health Sciences (Hons) graduate, Isabelle has a keen interest in rangatahi mental health. Her experience in policy, combined with her involvement in the Filipino community, make her a passionate advocate for engaging with decision makers about Asian health and wellbeing.
She is currently involved in migrant women health and FASD research, and envisions a future where Asian youth are empowered in their mental health.
