Gautam Raj Singh (Raj) is an experienced public health professional with over 15 years of experience in developing and implementing  population health policies and plans across local, regional, and national levels. He has contributed to both government and non-government sectors, focusing on services and preventive measures.

Raj has a medical background and holds postgraduate qualifications in public health from the University of Auckland. Raj has a passion for improved and equitable health outcomes for Ethnic communities. As a member of the group delivering Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora (HNZ TWO) Waitematā’s Health service model for Ethnic and Asian communities, Raj was the recipient of Public Health Association’s inaugural Asian and Ethnic Peoples Public Health Award in 2022. 

Raj is currently a Senior Service Development Manager - Refugee & Migrant Health with the Living Well, Northern Region Commissioning Team at HNZ TWO. Raj currently lives in Auckland with his wife and two daughters.
